5 Reasons We Love Marketing In the Beauty Industry

Working away, surrounded by lipsticks, nail enamels, mascaras, foundations & fragrance, I often think, “How lucky am I?”  And I’m not the only one who feels lucky working in the Beauty Industry.  I asked some of my colleagues what they liked best, and here are the Top 5 answers ……

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. We Love the Products!  Let’s face it, if you work in the Beauty Industry we share a common passion for Makeup, Skincare & Fragrance!! And to be able to trial & play with it every day, we are in our element. :-)
     
  2. The Innovation. We especially love NEW products!! The industry is driven by innovation. Product innovation, sometimes planned years in advance, gives us an insider’s peak to future fashion and makeup trends, and it’s exciting launching truly innovative new products that consumers embrace. And there is also industry innovation like social media, influencers & retailer programs that ensure marketing skills continue to be developed.
     
  3. Fast Paced & Challenging Workplace.  No time to get bored in this industry! Juggling many projects at once means you are constantly challenged and continually learning. It is rewarding & fun working in a team environment, and also working with other internal and external business partners means that you get to meet lots of different people, making it pretty social as well.
     
  4. Tickets to the Hottest Events. Being linked to the Beauty & Fashion scene means that if your company or brand are a sponsor, you can score tickets to Beauty Industry, TV, Magazine, Retailer & Fashion events that are “Industry Only”, and let’s face it, you’ve worked hard to get there, so go and enjoy yourself!

How good is it working for a company that believes in making the world a better place?  Beauty Companies support many charities & causes.  They come together in Australia to support Look Good Feel Better, and also have their own health, humanitarian and environmental causes.
